As part of my ongoing 'trawl' through the Newsletter came across the following,

NUMBERED BRITISH AND INDIAN ARMY CENSOR STAMPS 19.14—1920

In response to a number of requests that we should list the censor marks of the First World War in the same way as we have already done for those of the Second World War, we are making a start by describing those British ana Indian army censor marks containing numbers.
Other types of army censor marks will be dealt with in another article later. British Army Eleven different types are known, some used in several theatres of war, some in only one theatre. End Quote

For students and readers unfamiliar with the Censor types shown in screenshot two number 1 to 8, these reflect what we now class as CM 1 to CM 8, The late Bob Emery confused things 'Down Under' by adapting a different system,
Shown below from 1976, when he published his @Australian Imperial Forces Postal History 1914 -18' in 1984 he amended these listings, renumbering them.
