CM 1 & CM 7 WWI Censors

Morning Team

As part of this study I'm looking for scans of CM 1, used in 1914 (Western Front) which we rarely see nowadays and CM 7, the second part of the series used in Egypt etc, again we rarely see examples of these.

Egypt in late 1917 and 1918 is a strange under researched area for censorship. When Type CM 7 was introduced in October 1917 for Salonika there was a complete change over from Type CM 3. However for Egypt and Palestine Type 3 continued in use well into 1918 almost making Type 7 redundant. Look forward to a full inbox of scans. :)

Its a 100 years plus since these were used, time we sorted them out properly. Coming up for 75 years as a society and we still haven't fully addressed them.

One scan or 100 they will all help. What can you produce?

Many thanks for your help. I don't know how you dig out all these details
