A K Reference Cards
Sorting through these cards on some there is a note (IWM 323) or a different number.
I know A K obtained information from many sources. What comes to mind on this note is, Imperial War Museum and the number represents a file or folio. I have visited the Imperial War Museum but never the Documents section, from memory I think you used to have to pre-book.
Anyone any thoughts on what the note means if different from what I'm thinking?

Hello Geoff
Many thanks for your response. I'd had a look at the IWM website but didn't get very far I'm afraid. I'd agree that the references are for private collections or correspondence that was donated over the years. Currently I have seen 3 or 4 different reference numbers but it's likely there are others as I work through the cards.
I'll try emailing them, I'm unlikely to visit the IWM again unforunatley as not travelling much now for health reasons.
Cheers Chris
